Overview
Municipal Gallery in the Riding Hall
Städtische Galerie in der Reithalle
The former Riding Hall in Schloß Neuhaus was built in 1825 for the Prussian garrison that was stationed in the castle grounds. The building, now painstakingly restored, has housed a section of the city art gallery since 1994. Despite the modernisation process, the Riding Hall has retained the charm and character of its architectural origins, (originally built during the Biedermeier period), enhancing the different exhibitions now on show.
