The Johann Adam Möhler Ecumenical Institute is an internationally known scientific institute for research and education affiliated to the Catholic Church and committed, in its theological endeavours, to re-establishing church and religious unity. The Institute strives to educate its students both through its ecumenical ideology as well as by means of scientific research, laying equal importance upon written and spoken educative methods and the simultaneous championing of ecumenical dialogue in order to promote pastoral care.
